Workitout, Gal!

About Me

PINK SHIRT

Alrighty, well last July I decided that I wanted to train for a half-marathon and blog about the experience.  I did this for about a month and a half, but once school started, my course load got heavy and my extra-curricular activities kicked into full swing, blocking out two-hour chunks a day to go on long runs became more daunting than I imagined (just being honest people!).  I do still have big goals running a half-marathon (and eventually a full!), but overall my true passion is exercise in general.  My family and friends will attest that I love to work out.  It keeps me sane, it keeps me healthy, and most importantly, it keeps me happy.  I decided that blogging about ways to stay in shape, and simply life in general might be kind of fun and interesting after creating a magazine prototype called Fit For College last quarter for my magazine journalism class.  I work out at least four days a week so I figured, why not document what seems to work, what seems not to work, and what seems like fun!  Also, it is my final quarter at Ohio University and I would love to have a mini diary about my daily musings and adventures.  It is also a cool way to keep my family and friends up to date on my life because I know they care so much!  Enjoy!

    Buelterman,

I started reading your blog and I think it’s really great. I’m so proud of you! Very inspirational actually – you’re starting to make me think about working out again. Holy crap…

Keep it up, dude! I can’t wait to hear all about it when we get back. I will comment more later, but I just wanted to say that I think the whole blog/marathon is a really great idea.
